Just as it's totally hard to prove there's a ghost if you did see one and feel one, it would prob. still be hard to prove that there is a God even if you had a picture. Faith works for me then! What say you?

Good on you for having faith. I, however, will continue to be an Agnostic until something happens to change my mind. *shrug* It doesn't have to be a picture of a god, I'd settle for one of those "touched by the holy spirit" moments believers talk about so often. But I've never had one, and I doubt I ever will.

That is why I love this passage from scripture:
Romans 1:19-20
...that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

So even though it may seem simplistic to say this, all ya have to do is look around to see His creation and Know He is God Most High. Look at the complexity of the human eyeball, a new born baby, the way giraffe's brains don't explode when they bend down to take a drink of water..... God's creation is beyond our wildest imaginations.

Salvation is by faith through grace.

Yes faith is very much what it is all about, that's our faith in Jesus and God's love for us. It is impossible to please God with operating in faith but it is not a blind faith and mercifully God will bless us with revelation knowledge of His love for us if we would place our faith in Him.

You might say that it is one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind, right into the open arms of the Lord God almighty.

why should we need further proof that God exists? how can man invent the things that he does? how else can the sky get that beautiful color of blue or purple at sunset? who made the sun? who made the night? i guess scientists can come up with an answer...but did you ever wonder, if we are to believe what scientists tell us, then humans should be continuing to evolve, right?i mean, since we do come from apes, right? LOL can you believe this? man would rather believe that they came from APES than from GOD? sad

It's not about proof. Don't waste time trying to make people believe. Practice loving God and your neighbor, and people will want to be like you. Try meditation, break down your fears and resentments and things will naturally come to you. Learn to trust your instincts.
