********EDITED*************

what the hell is a kid going to do with a radar detector?

if he can drive and has his own car, it wouldn't do him much good anyway; all state police (or highway patrol, depends where you live) use laser technology now. Most local police do as well, although some still use radar.

JUST MENTION HOW MCUH THE INSURANCE WILL SKYROCKET IF YOU GET A TICKET!!!
A radar detector is an easy inexpensive way to prevent tickets. on local roads. not highways.

As a parent myself there isn't. I want my children to respect the road and the privilege to drive. Remember things happen very fast. And your life could change in the blink of a moment. All it takes is an accident.

There are many arguments, but not one that should convince any parent to get their child a radar detector. Unless they are trying to kill their child and perhaps some other motorists.

There are none! You have no business speeding at all ever!!! More accidents are caused by children under the age of 25 than any other drivers!!! SHAME ON YOU!!

You could argue that you would end up learning a lot about economics and our justice system because of all the traffic tickets you will get.
