Oh, how cruel. I think that your owner should know better. It does no good to punish you or put you a a chain if you were not caught in the act of being naughty. Putting you on a chain is only going to make things worse for both of you.
Show your owner this website I've added about chaining up dogs
I think another good idea would be for you to try and convince your owner to take you obedience school to help with your manners, too. It will be fun for both of you.
Good luck.

Tell your master to chain himself up and let someone pat him on the head once in a while and see how he likes it.
Now enough talking to the dog, this is to the person who typed this are you looking for the reason why your dog is becoming fierce, well easy you are keeping chained up. I can see having him chained while you are at work but once you get home the chains need to come off and let him be a dog. Play with him off the chain and let him play off the chain. If you were chained up all the time you would be pissy too.

Peeing in the house and chewing up shoes would certainly constitute being a bad dog to your master because he has to clean up your messes and buy new shoes. Baby, I know you do this because you miss him while he is away and it is your only way to get his attention. Try this..lay down and look real pathetic and see if he will let you off the leash when at home. Then when you are free..be that angel and stay out from under foot, keep your legs crossed until it is outdoor time and obey his commands immediately. You may have to put up with being leashed while he is gone, but you can sure be a fun companion once he is home if you try your dog-gonest.

Take him off the chain, put him on a leash, go for a walk. You cannot take a bad behaved dog and tie them up, this will not solve the problem, then all you have is a bad behaved dog on a chain. Take him off the chain, suffer through all the chewing and barking, he needs constant discipline, find fun things to take the bad behavior off his mind, buy toys, play. I can guarantee that if you leave the dog on the chain his behavior will only get worse, and the dog will never come off of the chain, and what kind of life is that?

Hi there! I am not a dog trainer by any means. I need help with my dogs sometimes, too. Here is a website that may give you some help. There is also a question and answer forum on here where you can ask other dog owners and professionals for advise. I hope you and your master can find a solution to your problem. Good Luck!!

I wonder if your master has tried NILIF (Nothing in life is free). The idea is that you as a dog have to work for everything, including food. It keeps your mind busy and keeps the power where it belongs. Plus, it can be a lot of fun as you learn new tricks and commands. Have your person do a google search on NILIF. Also, your owner may want to make double sure you are getting enough exercise.

If your master would stop treating you like a prisoner and more like a companion that might help. You don't describe what you do as far as being naughty although NOTHING should warrant being chained up all the time.
Too bad you can't tell your owner to give you away to someone who could deal with your naughtiness before you do something that might make him want to do something drastic.

In your question you don't say how old your pet is,but assuming it is an adult I would let him off of the chain while in doors if not very vicious toward you.Maybe try walking him so he can get exercise providing he isn't the type to attack people and other pets.If too vicious toward you,I would suggest to send him to obedience classes and if not possible, find him a good home where he can be used according to his temperment, like taking down criminals.Police dog.

Lord, I hope you are just typing this from a dog's point of view.
Just in case you are, take the dog off the chain. Dogs should not be constantly chained up. Then bring him to obedience classes. Talk to your vet as well, because it could also be a health problem, but if nothing else, he/she will be able to point you in the direction of a good trainer.
if you are talking about yourself,BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHA is all I can say.

You are growing fierce toward him and its no wonder... being kept on a chain all the time. Maybe if he spent a bit more time noticing you and playing with you, he might have a nicer dog. Personally I think you should eat him.
