I tried it before and was given 100mg then, both in the morning and at night. It lowered my blood pressure to 65/35 (that's pretty darn low). That was several years ago. Now my doctor wants to try it again, but only 25mg at night to help me sleep. What experiences have you guys had?

Hi hun! I took Seroquel for 3 months. It made me feel sick to my stomach and gave me migraines. It took me a while to realize theses were the side effects from Seroquel on me. However once I stopped taking it, my stomach stopped hurting and the migraines went away. Good luck! This is how the med effected me, it doesn't mean it will effect you in this way. This will just give you an idea that theses effects could be possible. Hugs! Von

I have been taking Seroquel for about 6 months now. I take 100mg before bed and i sleep very well. My blood pressure has never been low on it though. My 2 biggest complaints about Seroquel are weight gain and drowsiness the next day. Maybe you should only take it once a day but check with your doctor and check your blood pressure frequently. Good luck.

Until recently I was on 200 mg. at night. Sleeping is no problem, but I felt somewhat groggy during the day, too. My doctor cut my dose to 100 mg. at night, and now I am feeling more alert by day and still sleeping well at night. One thing I have noticed while taking Seroquel is that it kicks in, full force, in just about an hour. If I am delayed in getting to bed for some reason after taking it, I get very drowsy and DIZZY (staggering) and get the restless/crawly legs feeling. Make sure you are horizontal before an hour has gone by!
