I know it won't freeze but does it make a difference or is it just personal temperature preferance?

i don't have it long enough to worry about it. Captain Morgan is my best friend. Love it blended with orange juice and vanilla ice cream and poured over crushed ice. tastes like a creamcicle

If you want I know a friend of ours keeps his tequila in the freezer. I only keep stuff I want to do a shot of in it so it stays nice and cold

Yep -- that's where I keep mine.

Don't keep Malibu rum in there though, it's got less booze, and it'll get slushy. Unless you want a Malibu rum slushy that is...

I would say why keep it at all, try some good rum like Zaya or Zacapa Centenario...

You could. It work hurt it. I keep my Vodka there. It makes its a little thick but good.
