If I could choose my parents, I would not have chosen either one of them, my mother is an alcoholic and drug user and recently we found out she had become a prostitute. My father was in prison when I was born and when he got out he never had anything to do with me until I was 9, even then I saw him occasionally, mostly when he was drunk or high. I moved out when I was 14 and moved in with an Aunt. She did the best she could to be a mother, but was in an abusive relationship and had three children of her own, so needless to say, until I was 17 I kept moving around. Neither parent could support themselves, let alone me. He was never much of a father and my mother was never much of a mom. I gratitude from high school with out any family there to see me get my diploma, neither parent watched me get married, neither parent came to see me when my sons were born. I could go on and on about how lousy they are at being grandparents.
So all I can do now is try real hard to be a wonderful mother to my two children.

I would certainly chosen mymother and father otherwise I wouldn't be the person I am to-day. although my dad died when
I was 3yrs old my mother was the best anyone could wish for. she taught me to be honest, that wealth was not the be all of life.
and to help others along life's journey. so YES i guess I am proud of my mothers' memory. hope my kids feel likewise about me.

yes i would because i can never see anyone else as my parents. even though we get in fights and disagree on different things, i would never choose anyone else to be my parents, no matter how good my life might be.

I would choose my biological dad and my step mom. They are my best friends! I admire them so much, their my heros, I couldnt survive without them. My bio mom could burn in hell for all I care. If she is'nt already there. I have one word for her... It's much too mean to say here.

I wouldn't change who my parent's are, for nothing in the world and I know, they feel the same way, about my sibling's and I.

the question you have justed asked has been asked by someone who does not get along with a parent,
they know best, remember that, never forget it.
at times i would hate my mother but she is my mother and she gave me life and sheltered me through the years and gave me the ability to live a great life.
she sacrificed a lot like other mothers do and we should respect them for that.
shame on you for asking that question

Why not? If you believe that God is perfect, things that happen to you contribute to who you are and your personality.
