ok. So i'm new to this high school, i'm a freshman, and yea. And there's this boy that i used to really like and i think that i still like him a little bit. but i dont even know. But i know for sure that he likes me, and i dont know wether to go out with him or not, because he's considered a geek. (idk y, he totally doesnt look like one) so i dont wanna ruin my reputation and idk what to do.
any advice???

I know you won't believe this now, but when you graduate from high school, he will no longer look like the geek. You should just leave him alone. Not to be mean to you, but he doesn't deserve someone who will constantly look down on him because of his "geeky" status. He needs to find someone that likes him for him, and you aren't it, my friend. Find someone who meets your social standing, that way you will be happy and unashamed.

Yes I'm with you. Dumb the nice geeky guy, go out with the star football player who likes to smack women around while he cheats on them, marry him watch as he goes to college on football scholarship breaks knee, gets kick out of college and has to work as a janitor at your old high school, then 10 years down the line the Geek who you throw away is a big time CEO making a jillion dollars a year with a super model girlfriend. Yeah that's the smart move.

Deja vu, same sort of thing happened to me (except i'm a guy and shes a girl and shes not a "geek" but shes in 8th grade and i'm in 10th) what i advise: screw reputations, street cred, damned it all to hell and go out with the guy, the effect could be that people start to accept him and not deject you. I did it, so can you.

do not worry what people say even if you go out wit a cute guy they will still talk about you. people will always talk about other people so if you like him tell him how you feel and you two can start dating. i used to go out with a nerd but yeah they were talking but did ii care no because he treated me like i was a queen and i love him for that...

high school and this crazy crap will not last forever soon you will look back and laugh at the drama in the mean time, dont waste your time on one guy meet people, have a great time and live life!

Hey, if you like him and he likes you, why not try being freinds for a while, and see if it leads anywhere? If it works out, good, if not, you haven't lost too much, and besides, if you begin with friendship, maybe you can keep that.
