I love them both. Cauliflower is more versatile in my diet. I mash them for mock mashed potatoes, shred them and steam them for mock rice, or fry the mock rice for mock hashbrowns, whereas Broccoli is another favorite. Not as versatile but just as yummy.

No question, broccoli tastes a lot better than cauliflower. I know broccoli is full of vitamins and has a lot of calcium but, since I hate cauliflower, I have no idea if it has any vitamins or what. It could be the healthiest food on the planet and I still wouldn't eat it... even with cheese on it!

I love steamed veggies, but they can be a little bland. I like to add a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese over broccoli. A lot of people like cheese sauce over it too (like the kind that you get with nachos at the ballpark). I like to roast my broccoli and cauliflower as well. Toss florets with a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast them in a 400 degree oven until they are cooked through, about 20 or 30 minutes. They should be slightly brown. Stir every 10 or 15 minutes during the cooking time. Sprinkle with a little cheese and enjoy!

I prefer broccoli. Overall broccoli looks slightly more nutritious. One cup has MORE than the RDA of Vitamin C
