That which is against God's Will is what Christians define as "sin". While it is a sin to be sexually active before marriage, being a friend to such a person doesn't "contaminate" you or make you unacceptable to God. In fact, you could be God's tool for steering that sexually active person away from sin and back to Him. There's nothing wrong with that - in fact, that's one of the reasons we're still here after we're saved instead of being instantly taken away to Heaven.

We're here to serve God. Being a "friend" is serving God.

One of the beauties of Christianity is the nature of a TRUE Christain. Where one understands the New Convenant made by God to all men...Meaning putting away the harsh and cruel laws imposed on all men appearing in the Old Testament, which included penalities for such a lifestyle.

A true Christian, does not judge others based on their religion. A true Christian, does not preach condemnation to others with alternate lifestyles. We pray for them, but there is no judging/avoiding.

A true Christain, leads others to Christainity by living a life by the laws of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Good luck to you.

i am a catholic which derives from christianity!

first of all we all have the same God, the one and only allmighty! we do not have several different gods.

well now answering your question...i know extremely orthodox christians and they don't care if the other person has had sex before, it's a personal believe, and also it's not like they tell each other that type of stuff right away either; and if they would it wouldn't matter!

nope. why refuse to be friends with someone?

they are their own person. they have their own beliefs and values and methods of everything in life.

we, as christians are supposed to NOT judge anyone, we fail at it a lot but i personally try my best not to judge anyone.
so doesnt matter what you do in your life.
i will base friendship on trust and other such criteria, not by which religion you are or how you live your life. at least not in that respect.

No. I'd still be friends, after all Free Will is what God is all about, and I would never forsake a friendship over ideological issues.

no, God teaches us to be forgiving and tolerant. I dont want people judging me when i slip, so I wouldnt judge anyone for what they do. I might try my best to convince them of the immorality of it, but I respect the fact that not everyone shares my views.

I don't know. Leviticus states it is a sin to cut one's hair or trim one's beard but I have friends who do both. It is also a sin to eat pork but a friend of mine eats hot dogs. I feel like such a hypochrite !

NO of course not. I do not judge others only myself. My life has enough struggles for me to handle without judging how another deals with theirs.

Nope. I have tons of friend who are doing things against my faith. That's their issue. None of my business. My business is to love them.

God bless!
