A legal immigrant, I hope.....right??

Get a job with health insurance. As long as you can say you have been treated for this here before, you should be fine to get the insurance.

If no job yet, then contact your county's department of social services. They will get you seen.

Go to your County Public Health Service. The county hospital provides medical service free to newly arrived immigrant with no income. While under their care you will have to fill up questionaires about your monthly income, and a letter certification and signed by your relative you are staying with, if any.
State of California has this program, but I do not know what State you are immigrating to. Different State has diff. program. Check it out, and good luck to you.

Good news is - since you're an immigrant, you'll probably be eligible for free medical coverage -

Bad news is - the rest of us will have to pay for it.
