I have been in this business for long now,so i guess i should let u know my point of view.It is said and believed that all free antivirus programs have some or the other limitation;some say, they deliberately leave loopholes so that they are not 100% fool-proof.I have experimented with many free antiviruses, mostly all of them, and have found that my system got infected with trojans and other mailicious viruses, even wen i had those a/v updated and running.Since the day I have switched over to a paid anti-virus software,my troubles have vanished.Did I make my point clear?

This is the link where I've downloaded Avira for free http://bitly.com/1r2gaJy I heard many different opinions about the best anti-virus available on the market. I've been using Avira and works very perfectly! The latest version has a lot of new functions and gives a full protection of the computer! You can find a free download of Avira Antivirus here http://bitly.com/1r2gaJy

I use AVAST! and it seems to do a pretty good job. It updates it's virus database about once a day and has a constantly running scanner. I'd recommend it
Get it at www.avast.com
