No. It is how you say it.
Jesus Christ is the "I AM" or God Himself in a visible body.
"For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
-- Colossians 2:9
"Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"
-- John 14:9
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you Before Abraham was, I AM."
-- John 8:58
In the Swedenborgian denomination of the Christian Church, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the Good, the Truth and what comes forth from the marriage of Good and Truth, or the two elements of God and the resultant action, just like the soul, the body and the works in a single person.

z9y2a8sdf32q,
Jesus had more than one 'office.' He was the son of Mary, the Son of God, the King of the Jews, the Lord over all things, the door, the vine, the Messiah, Our Salvation (as in the Lord is our Salvation), the Author and Finisher of Faith, the Lamb of God, etc.
So in answer to your question; No. It is not wrong to say that Jesus is the son of Mary.

It is correct to say, since it is the truth. Name or title make a difference in calling on the "name of the Lord" though. Jesus son of Mary is a very human name for the savior. He still listens.

Well biologically she did give birth to him so Jesus is the son of Mary. I can't understand why there are some "No" answers to this question.

It is correct, Jesus was born from the womb of Mary, and into her Jewish tribe. The gospel of Luke particularly emphasizes this. Today when scripture is being looked at from a woman's perspective a lot is being written on Jesus as the Son of Mary.

i think it realy depends.... as His' "title" no, definitely not. however in a continued sentence to someone who maybe knew Mary better - muslim. marian, etc as a continuation yes. it's just that sure, Jesus IS the Son of Mary but Jesus is who should be considered the focal point and He takes precedente when spoken of with His mother. Jesus is the reason she is known and loved.
(since you didn't capitolize the S in Son.... i took the assumption to mean you were talking about Jesus Christ not Jesus in the hispanic.latino manner :)

I know that nowhere in the New Testament did Jesus ever refer to Mary as being His mother, even though the story of His birth is well documented. I really wonder why He referred to her as "woman"?

I see nothing wrong with describing Jesus as "Jesus, son of Mary," but, as his paternity is a matter of debate, many would consider it wrong to call him "Jesus, son of Joseph and Mary."
