Go to control panel, and Sounds and Audio devices. All the sounds are there under the "sounds" tab. select "start windows" sound and put whatever you like there.

they are wav files. You can change the sounds in the control panel. There is an icon labeled sounds and audio devices. just double click it and choose the sound tab. It will have many different labels (and sounds) you can change.
