Does anyone have any ideas for safe treats toddlers can have on Halloween.

My primary concern is that the snacks not be too small so we can avoid any choking.

They have those Goldfish crackers in individual servings as well as graham crackers. Gerber makes little puff things made of fruit or vegetables - you could put those in a little cup for each of the kids. Those things are delicious! :)
P.S. Understand your concern about choking - I'm not sure Goldfish is all that safe - but the puffs dissolve in their mouths. I have always worried alot about choking hazards and I appreciate your concern. If you are having a party - the plastic little cups of pudding or jello might be fun for the little ones. If they are trick or treating - I think they get just excited about going door to door. When my son was 2 I took him out and he decided that he needed to give candy to the people at the door - I think he wanted to trade. He got so upset when they wouldn't take his candy he started to cry and I had to carry him home! lol Good luck!

i was shopping at the store the other day for "healthier treats" to pass out too i settled on pretzels they have them at walmart,target,and Kmart in small individual bags for Halloween 30 bags $4..also if its a Halloween party i would use veggies and dip,chips ,small party treat and make favor bags that had like Halloween pencils ,erasers,stickers,rings,etc...

Rice crispy treats, gummy worms,candy corn,cupcakes,cookies,and suckers... that's what we plan for..Be safe....Happy Halloween...........*****
