Discreet Cat is entered as "insurance" in case something happens to Bernardini, they are owned by Sheikh Mohammed. I think Discreet Cat is a much better horse but Americans know Bernardini better.

I would rather see both run, but that is almost certainly not going to happen. For obvious reasons Bernardini is the entrant of choice (he is in line to recieve American championship(s) with a win, he's proven at the distance, he's run faster speed figures, etc). Hopefully the two will have a chance to meet in Dubai next spring and perhaps they will both be entered next year at Monmouth.
