I claim to be no christian, no atheist no nothing, just spiritual. But what I have found to be very ironic. Is that the more I learn about religion, the more I get father away from what my original question was, because I am trying to decipher through all of the contradictions that bring me no more closer to the answers. When someone quotes me a scripture from the bible, all it does to me is reinforce the contradiction, in which I went searching for the answers in the first place. I wonder if god is laughing his *** off, I know I am sometimes, can you relate

True wisdom lies in knowing that you know nothing.

A wise man once said, "The more I know, the less I know."

The mark of true education and enlightenment is understanding that you (or a book) do not hold the absolute and complete truth, and do NOT have all the answers.

Answers show knowledge (or lack thereof). Questions show wisdom.

i can relate. i grew up in christian school k-12, i beleived for a long time and then i started to wonder how this and why that. when people around me couldnt answer i decided to read more into my bible for answers, the more i learned the more confused i became, the more things were left unanswered and the more contradictions i found. i think that is why its called blind faith, you have to hold to faith rather then knowledge. im sure we make a pretty good sitcom for him. up there drinking his heavenly beer with satan, having a grand time watching our struggles.

It will all become clear to you if you are fortunate enough to continue on your path enough to come to realize that Christ is divine and offers you the only way out of the labyrinth of what appear to be contradictions. Christ addresses--and solves--all of the contradictions. You just can't see it yet. If one day you do come to accept his gift of salvation, you will be continually shocked by how he provides everything necessary--and everything you have been seeking.

Perhaps that's because the answer doesn't lie with religion.
