Yes...a good friend of mine got pregnant with an IUD. She had it removed when she found she was pregnant, and her son is now 17 months old.

I have a pill baby. I took them religiously at the same time everyday had implantation bleeding rite around my sugar pills so I started a new pack went to have mirena inserted on month 2's sugar pills and well I was 8 weeks pregnant
The chances of pregnancy with Mirena is 0.1% while sterilization is 0.5%. I have not gotten pregnant in the past 3 years (knock on wood) Its very rare for it to happen but everything is possible. It used to be more common back in the 70's, 80"s and 90's but it was then taken off the market and the newer models came out perfected

it is very rare but possible. If you do get prego on the IUD alot of the time the baby will either not make it or had defects..but its VERY rare.

Yes, my friend's mother had two kids while on the IUD, and both were healthy, but had the IUD in their hands when they came out...

It's very rare and if you do the baby probably wouldn't make it. The % depends on what kind of IUD but I have teh Mirena and I believe its about 99% effective.

Yes, IUD's are not 100% effective but many studies have shown them to be slightly more effective than the pill.
