I do not believe in pushing for sex without already having a spark in a relationship, but either way there is nothing wrong with trying to be friends.

There are people who have had dating relationships and then were friends after the dating relationship ended.

Take care,
Troy

If she wanted to be a friend, that would be fine.

If she wanted to be treated like a girlfriend but not be one, then I would have no respect for her at all. I saw a lot of guys used that way when I was in college. They were the protector, provider, entertainer, and door mat. Most of those guys ended up with serious emotional issues. One of my room mates threatened to kill me in my sleep because I prevented his never will be girlfriend from putting her knee in my groin. This was two days after she put a guy down (knee to the groin) on campus because he told her to stop coughing in his face when she had the flu. My room mate seemed willing to go to prison to prove to her he was somehow worth enough to become a real boyfriend. She liked digging her fake fingernails into his arms drawing blood and leaving scars. He looked me straight in the eyes and told me that he didn't mind.

Don't be one of those girls.

Did you ever think that she may be testing you. If you are willing to be a friend then you may become a friend with benefits later. But if you don't want to be the friend then your only interested in the physical thing not her.

I think to myself "here is a girl that refused me and still wants to be my friend".

I wouldn't of asked her for sex unless we were married, so I wouldn't be able to help you out. You sound decent, so save it for a deserving guy who is doing the same. There would be nothing hotter than telling your spouse you saved it just for them....and being honest about it.

Sex is one thing but friends is another if its just being friends that she wants she needs to be clear on that other wise she is just leading him on

I think it would be hard, but one can never have too many real friends so I would try to be a friend back. Besides you never know her feelings could eventually grow for you.
