CONVERT.

It is hard to convert anybody...so hard that it is impossible. Only God has the power to convert. People have zero power over this.

Why is it so hard for a sinner who behaves well much of the time to accept that Christ is the Son of God and to accept his mercy? Because of his or her intellectual pride. How do I know this? I used to be one of them.

Probably you are doing it covertly. he he i couldn't resist,
to convert someone would be very difficult because it must be interiorized from within there own hearts which God can speak to, very often he knocks but they do not open the door. The best way would be they can be a witness to you. If you shine like the light of the Holy Spirit they will want what you have and then you can explain things to them in love.

I'm not sure a good sinner is either covert or overt.

What exactly is the question?

What exactly is a "good" sinner. Remember the only person who can SAVE someone is God himself. Also, your life itself should reflect that of a Christian...so much so that people become attracted to the God within you.

I think you said it. They think they are "good." None are good but our Father which is in Heaven."

ALSO: Zecharia 4:6 "So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. "

David Wilkerson, when he first started going to New York City, to witness and start a Church, had a hard time getting through to the gang members about Jesus. One day he had a gang member in the car with him, when he got out of the car to try to reach someone. When he got back in the car, he was FLUSTERRED. Slamming his fists on the steering wheel, he said<"I'M NOT GETTING THROUGH. I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT!" To which the gang member quietly said,"ou're trying too hard, man." THEN it HIT David,"NOT BY MIGHT, NOT BY POWER, BUT BY MY SPIRIT, saith the LORD." Then, his ministry began to FLOURISH! He started Teen Challenge, which is now in 77 nations, and has an 8,800 member Church, Times Square Church in Manhatten, NYC.

Because we are only to represent Christ in lovingkindness towards others, the conversion is His job, not ours. It's up to the individual to decide whether or not to choose to accept God by our example we show, not by our words or preaching. Actions of love speak louder.

Why give up something that I'm good at?? LOL :) Sin is just something that was made up to keep religious followers under control. :)
