For some people, happiness does NOT come naturally. We also live in a world where it's considered "wrong" to be worried, bothered, etc. Today we are almost expected to be all joyfully happy 24/7, and that's unrealistic and stressful.

Happiness, btw, comes from INSIDE. It's something you have to wake up deciding to be, it can't be bought or sold, but it can be given away if you let someone else get you down. Happiness can come from action: if you don't like ? in your life, then do something about it. Take action. Movement. Even making a decision to NOT let someone else steal your joy can help.

happiness is subjective. everyone has different requirements for happiness.

some people need to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, watch football, drink beer on the weekends, earn a paycheck, and that's it! as long as they have those things, they're happy.

some people need to kill and eat people to be happy, and so they do.

some people want to have not a care in the world, so they become homeless hobos, and they still find happiness.


decide what you need to be happy. stop. sit down. get a piece of paper. make two lists. things that make you happy, and things that make you sad. then, decide; how can you INCREASE the things that make you happy, and DECREASE the things that make you sad? once you find an answer, GO FOR IT. we only live once, and it's not worth wasting your time being sad.

honey... i cant tell you where happiness is but i can tell you that i feel the same way i feel like i have the worst life i have lost everyone that i care about i stuck in a relationship now because i have nowhere else to go and i will never see friends or family ever again i am only 20 and my life is over but you know what thats why i have a computer so that i can find someone to talk to you need someone i am here..patrona_leah@yahoo.com

You need to take up yoga or a martial art. Some form of body-centered practice that includes meditation. I found out after 40 years that yoga actually works to make you happy. amazing.
talking and talk therapy never worked. I also dance to be happy.
