Absolutely not! there is no cure for that sort of thing because it is not an illness neither is abuse physical or mental, alcoholism, drug abuse or any other "addiction" what crap! You have a choice in anything you do in your life weather you have had a messed up life or not. You either choose the easy way and continue on the "wrong" path or you work hard to not become a statistic or head case or whatever. You have to try and break the vicious circle

I don't believe anything can cure a pedophile. going on your assumption that one could be cured the answer would be NO I would not leave my child with a person like that. Why would anyone want to tempt someone that sick?

If such a sick and depraved person realizes what a mess his life has been and comes out with the fact that he has asked God for forgiveness, we have to give him the benefit of the doubt that he IS trying to change his ways. The therapy will never really happen if we don't try to forgive and forget.

I believe that Jesus can cure illnesses, but how would you know that a person has truly been cured? I wouldn't take someone's word for it and I certainly wouldn't leave my children with that person.

No. Not because I do not have faith in God, and NOT because I have not forgiven that person. Honestly, I would just feel very uncomfortable leaving my child around someone that I know is a child predator. I think that God would understand my feelings.

I don't know.
I would have to be more certain than his word he has faith.
...........that has been thrown around too much for me to just believe someone..............I would watch and still take caution

If I didn't know then yes, If I did know then the bible calls us to be wise. You don't want to tempt anyone. But also, the bible says to forgive those as you have been forgiven and we are not those to judge.
