I wanted to switch my dog to Canidae or Innova.
I know that petsmart, petco and the like don't carry it, but I thought maybe they might carry it online. No such luck, of course.
But what I did find is that if you type in Canidae or Innova into their search engine, blue buffalo comes up.
Either they think that the 3 types of dog food are very similar or it's their own brand of dog food that they're trying to peddle.
Anybody know the difference? The blue buffalo is about 5 dollars cheaper so if it's just as good I will try that first, but if not, Canidae it is.
She's on Purina One right now. Total crap food, although not as bad as say Ol' Roy.

The reason she is on the Purina one is because that's what she was on when I got her. I almost switched to Nutro, but the first ingredient is a freaking by-product whereas the first ingredient in the Purina one is real meat, even though they do still have by-products and fillers in it.
I have heard a lot of good things about the Canidae, but the way people were talking it seemed like it would have been 40 bucks for a 10 lb. bag or something. I just never thought to actually call retailers who carried it to find out for sure. Well I found one in my area who sells a 20lb. bag for 26.99. Not too bad at all, considering the fact that I'll have a healthier animal because of it. And less poop to pick up. That's one of the worse things about dog ownership to me. haha

And Chetco, I brush my girls' teeth everyday so I'm not too worried about that. haha

Dangit, I guess I should have posted a really idiotic question and gotten more responses. haha
Thanks to the 2 of you who did respond.
From what I am reading, the Blue Buffalo seems like a pretty good food, so I will try that and see how well she does on it.
