The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume. 3500 calories = 1 pound.
The problem with eating one time each day is that your body will go into starvation mode and slow down it's metabolism.
In order to rev up metabolism it is important to get an hour of moderate activity each day (assuming your doctor clears you for that type of activity), and you must consume enough calories to keep your body from thinking it's starving.
Since you enjoy eating lean proteins and vegetables, you will probably not need to change much about your diet besides eating more than once per day. A single serving of meat is about the size of a deck of cards, so chicken breast of that size would be ok too. Make sure to read the nutrition labels, balance portion sizes, and eat foods high in nutrients and fiber (fiber makes you feel full).
You absolutely can NOT cut out all fat every day. Vitamins A, D, E, and K cannot be absorbed unless you have fat in your gut. That's why you are supposed to take vitamin supplements with a meal.

To be completely honest it doesn't matter what you eat. You can eat 4 meals with all sugar and fattening foods, if you're willing to work it off. You need to still be exercising and working out to keep your body healthy. I used to only eat once a day out of conveinence and then I was forced to eat 3 balanced meals a day and I lost a lot of fat and gained muscle from working and eating healthily 3 times a day. Even better is to eat 6 very small meals throughout the day. Don't not eat thinking that will help because while you'll lose weight fast, it's not fat you're losing and it's unhealthy.

you need to start working out to lose weight and eat healthy.. But eat small portions all day long .. I took my mom being diagnosed with diabetes and she weighs only 130 lbs and is 5'4 ..So every since she started eating small meals all day long with vitamins and nutrition foods and counting her sugar level my mom has lost 10 lbs, she also exercises too. If you start eating one meal a day you will be denying yourself the nutrients that you need then that will make you eat more and then you'll gain the weight back three times more.. Go to Oprah.com and look up the Oprah workout and diet meal boot camp . It really works and the exercise will make you feel much more better you metabolism speeds up and you burn more calories and eat more healthy fruits and veggies etc. and you can have one cheat snack one time a week. Try it and you'll feel different and energized.

No you will not, you will lose muscle, not fat and you will look sick, not cute.
Eat something in the morning
Eat something at lunch
Then eat your salad at 7pm
- okay - don't be afraid of food, get a better understanding of food and make it your friend - you CAN eat and lose weight.
You are okay as you are. Nothing wrong with a little improvement, but love yourself okay!!!! If you don't - who will. Don't starve yourself!!

It's better if you eat small meals all day long. That helps lose weight better than 1 meal once a day. It keeps your metabolism going and your blood sugar stable if you eat more often.
Eating once a day may cause your body to think it's starving and therefore you won't lose any fat.

You will soon be a very sick person if you continue to eat like that. Your body is not designed to work that way. It will stop burning fat altogether, because it thinks it is being starved (which it IS.)

The only sensible and responsible way to lose weight is to eliminate the fat out of your diet, such as checking all foods that you purchase by making sure it is zero fats. foods as mash potates, rice is to much starch or fats. If you stick to eliminating fat foods and eating three meals a day, you will lose 5 to 10 pounds a month. Be sensble, lose weight properly by eating right and low calorie food.
