No, it just supposedly washes away "sins". I don't think that xitians consider mental ailments to be sins, just a mark of the devil!

I think God can and does heal people in all sorts of ways. Some times he chooses not to heal though. Jesus brought Lazerus back to life after he was dead for three days, surely he can heal a mental ailment.

What's the problem? Jesus died so you could be free from sin and sickness.
