I want something that will last, but is inexpensive. What is your opinion about brands?

I commute 100 miles/day. I am wanting something affodable BUT also lasting. I put so much wear and tear on my car, that I hate to put money into it. Ijust need to get to work safely.

Khumo makes really nice tires but your question is too vague. BEST tires for what? Rain? Racing? All weather? Modify your question so we can give you a better answer.

A manual transmission will get you best milelage and power put down, but the Hyundai has a weak frame and may give you problems later on. Out of these three the Eclipse is probably your best buy, but you should probably keep looking around. If you are looking for a performance vehicle, look for something with rear-wheel drive (its workload is balanced better over all the tires and generally handles much better).

Falken tires are usually really cheap. I wouldn't use it if you are going to be driving in the winter. Otherwise I would go for a Michelin or Goodyear if you can find one at a decent price. Make sure that the speed rating matches your car and matches your current tires (if you aren't buying all 4).
