Proverbs 24:10 says:

"Have you shown yourself discouraged in the day of distress? Your power will be scanty."

That's in modern English from the New World Translation.

The Bible doesn't say that. However, it infers that at times our faith is weak and needs to be strengthened.

We all fail at times. James says, "In many things we all stumble" (James 3:2). No Christian is perfect and above sin. We do, however, have special resources to get us through the tough times victoriously (prayer, Christian friends who pray for us, the indwelling Holy Spirit of God, and the Word with its promises that strengthen us and give us hope).

cingular11111,
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

There is typically the 'trust in God' issue connected to it.
