I saw some folks singing like monks but do not get it!

(Did not even knw how to spell it but I really have heard here and there did not know what is it all wabout, googled it , obviously wrong spelling and could not get any more info)

Hare Krishna. Krishna is the avatar of the Godhead personality according to some hindus. They are praising him in this song and hari also is another word which has for meaning, god while krishna, means all attractive.

Hare-Krishna are American Hindus. Basically. Here is the Krishna community nearest to where I live. I think they are sweet people.

It's Harri Krishna. Harri is "lord" and Krishna is a Hindu entity.
