Help! I have a beautiful Expresso Wood dining set with minty green cushions. The floors are a cream/ beige/drk brwn Travertine. What would be a good color to paint the walls? Any advice will help. I was thinking a coco brown, but thought that may be to "bland" HELP! :-)

a yellow that complements the mint green. that should stand out

mint green walls, but lighter than the cushions. Get some sample chips from the paint store to be sure the walls aren't going to clash

The same green as the cushions. I see it. It will be beautiful. Cut out a little swatch underneath and Lowes or Home Depot can match it perfectly to the cushions .

a rich tobacco beige would look great
i know people here are saying mint green on the walls, but have they been in a hospital lately??? Too much mint is hospital like

cream would also look nice and you could do a cream on cream with shellac email me if you have any questions on this

If you aren't too daring I would suggest something in the blue family more leaning to the navy blue hues.(This is complimentary) If you are daring then go to the mauve and plum colors. (They are the triad colors) Remember, in nature brown is the earth and greens are the leaves. All colors of flowers go with them. Be daring, but remember this is where you will be eating.

I would go for maybe a chocolate brown bed spread, and some ivory throw pillows and sheets. if you dont like the color brown, other colors that would go nicely would be a lilac or lavender kind of color, maybe a grey or a very washed out white, and some picture frames, if your hanging anything, should be brown, black, cream, ivory, or driftwood type of thing. :)
