What kind of question about homeschooling? My mother homeschooled for many years, she had 6 kids graduate from homeschool and go on to college. I was homeschooled the majority of my school years.

Initially, we began homeschooling because our daughter had been abused by a teacher at one school and almost murdered by a classmate at another - in one of the top districts in the country. That was four years ago, when she was ten. We continue because, for us, it's a wonderful form of education. Our daughter is now 14 years old, happy, healthy, intelligent, working toward a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has loads of friends, hold a job working with beginning/handicapped Tae Kwon Do students, and is eager to meet each day. When my husband and I became parents, we took on the responsibility of raising our daughter. Getting "me time" was something we both do by having specific times of the week where the other parent is in charge. Our daughter does very little at home. We share the "taxi" responsibilties. If saving our daughter's life meant giving up "me time, " we both would have done it - gladly. All the best.
