Nice Question! My favorite Christmas movie is "A Christmas Story" Where I live they usually play this movie back to back for 24 hours starting 12pm Christmas Eve until 12 pm Christmas night. I will keep it on the whole 24 hours. My favorite memory is also the same as yours! When I was little we used to open one gift on Christmas Eve and it was usually a new pair of pajamas to wear Christmas night. I carried on the tradition with my kids. I hope my kids pass on the tradition to theirs.

Hope you have a nice Christmas this year.

I can't choose between a movie there are way to many that I adore. I actually look forward to the season for an excuse to watch them.
My dad was a cop in NYC and he used to work the 4 to midnight shift. When he got home from work on Christmas Eve he would help my mom put out all the gifts make all sorts of noise to wake me and my sisters so we would think Santa was there and we would open our gifts about 1:30PM after "Santa" just left. I think we did this until my baby sister was 8. Then the cat was out of the bag.

The Grinch who stole Christmas .... classic .... acting like the Grinch when I was little was so much fun ... I smiled just like him ... I always loved passing out the gifts ... it was my job growing up since I was the oldest grandchild ... I felt special ... I've passed my Santa's hat and apron down to my little cousin ( she's 15 ) it's a tradition in our family and hopefully she'll give it too my youngest cousin soon ( she's only 8 though - not quiet ready for the responsibility .. lol .. )

Mine is resembling yours...I merely liked the ambience around christmas time. I bear in mind whilst me and my family contributors might sit down around the tree with one yet another on the hours of darkness. No different lighting fixtures fixtures have been on however the tree, and we would pay attention to christmas song (the enticements to be spectacular) and experience each and each others corporation.once I pay attention a similar holiday song as previously, whilst i became little, it merely consistently brings back those suggestions. :) happy circumstances.
