Forget the party! Have someone get you some Tamyflu at Walmart's or CVS, You do not need to spread it to the ones that will come to the party, and they spread it to others. It is deadly to the Young children, and Grand parents. So, will you cancel your party and start it again when you are well. You will still have a lot of party's in your life, this one is not an emergency is it?

First of all you need to take something to relieve the symptoms - TheraFlu should help. Secondly, get settled on the sofa or your bed and keep warm - you can use a heating pad on your larger muscle areas to relieve aches and pains. Drink plenty of fluids and get a lot of rest. It will run it's course but go smoother if you follow my advice.

You have a cold, not the flu... Get some cold medication for your symptoms, drink lots of water, and cover your mouth when you cough and your nose when you sneeze, so you don't pass that nasty bug to your friends at your party.

Meli.....I loved your poem....humour is good medicine...

As well as all the above advice, don't forget to have some warm fluids if your stomach will take them. Chicken noodle soup from the can is one of my all time favourites, or if your mom is there maybe she will make you some homemade chicken soup.......delicious on the stomach. Hope you feel better soon....these things just need to take their course. No magic solutions unfortunely...try to take a nap too.

Actifed is great, and works quickly, but may make you sleepy. Or try tylenol cold; it's great and will help with some of your flu symptoms. There's no guarantee that anything will make you better by tomorrow. If you can stand to drink medicine, theraflu is good.

You can't really do anything about a flu, but you can maybe try taking like some medicine, maybe Tylenol flu stuff or whatever you would normally take... and get plenty of rest and fluids...

If you truly have the flu, there is nothing you can do but take fever/pain relievers and wait it out.
If it is only a head cold and your nose is bugging you,try Actifed but becareful as it can make you sleepy.

You can't do anything, but let it run it course, and i am sure you don't have the flu, just a little cold try fresh organic ginger tea, it can help the symptoms

Take 'sudafed'. Make sure you are not allergic and check you can take them if you are on any other medication. Orange juice and paracetemol (the above applies to this too) will help you feel better in the mean time. I know you're too young, but just in case ... be careful what pills you pop if you're going to indulge in alcohol.
