Hi
I first would like to state I do not believe in religion, but I believe in the existance of God , I have a relationship with Him and I just do not agree that someone should force their RELIGION UPON ME.
I have posted many questions using different screen names, I asked about JESUS,ALLAH, BUDDHA, and inquired about all religions. In my findings those belonging to Buddhism seemed to be the kindest ,never tried to push their faith on me ,or never tried to scare me with the HELL thing and I DO NOT THINK THEY , or anyone for that matter,SHOULD GO TO HELL BECAUSE one religion says so. Why do some Christians fell that
need to preach and scare off people? I just do not understand. Could anyone elaborate on why ?

You do not believe in Hell so why does it matter. When you get to that Hell thing ask Satan.

Seeing all the deception in religion I have to wonder if God notices how they use him to foster all their bad acts. From Islamic terrorists in the middle east to Christianity calling for war and even sanctions.
The rich do not suffer they still get what they want but it is the people who are starving and suffering already who this will hurt the most. The young men who’s only sin was being born poor. Rich people don’t go to war that is why it is so easy for them to start war. Name one person , from any country, who’s children fight in their wars. The churches goes along with the government. Why don’t they speak out against all these things.
Jesus warned: “Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire.”
Matthew 7:19
Yes, false religion will be chopped down and destroyed! Everyone reads about Notradammus but the bible for told long before him what was going to be in the future. There is a prophetic vision recorded in the Bible book of Revelation, chapters: 17 and 18 provides the answer. If we knew how to understand it. What is it really telling us?
Soon the governments will turn on religion and destroy it.

The question of sinful humanity and the remedy for man's sin, is not a pleasant one.
Buddhists don't address the issue at all, so it's no wonder their beliefs and practices are so easy to accept.
You have a choice. No one is forcing you to do anything.
Continue doing your research ... or not.
Make a decision as you see fit ... or not.
Act on your decision ... or not.
If you're right, all will be well.
If you're wrong, you may end up spending a lot of quality time with Satan, the devil, in a place that is not where God intended for you to spend eternity.
These are simply the facts, as Christians understand them, and as they were revealed to us by God.
Even children are able to understand them.

I am a Christian, also LDS. (mormon) I think we feel the need to spread the gospel one, because we are commanded to, and two, because we love it.
I do not believe in a "hell", God loves us more than that. I believe there are 3 degrees of glory each of us will attain. (There is an outer darkness but very very few will go there...the devil, his angels, only those who have denied the Holy Ghost).
We believe in the Celestial Kingdom, Terrestrial Kingdom, and Telestial Kingdom. There have been visions by the prophet of each Kingdom. It has been said the Telestial Kingdom, is so wonderful that we can scarce even imagine it - and that is the lowest one! Imagine how wonderful the Celestial Kingdom will be - there with our families and our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! We invite all to search, study, pray, and find the truth of the gospel so that we may all return to live with our Heavenly Father. We believe the Lord has set forth certain covenants and promises that must be made and kept to return to his presence. We send missionaries out, if you are not interested, they will leave you alone. They bring a message of peace and love if you are interested.

First of all Buddhism is not a religion it's a way of life, a philosophy, a psychology, a way of thinking..etc [see the link for more info from their own sites]
Secondly Buddhism does not have Hell or Paradise concepts, rather they believe in reincarnation - circle of life.
Thirdly, if you believe in One God then you are okay for the time being! Because prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to believe in One God before he got revelation from Allah. And there were many other people who used to believe in One God during the time of idolatry before Islam. However after Islam was revealed and upon finding the Truth they all followed Islam.
As for you, you might not know much about Islam therefore believing in One God is okay. However there is a book of God (Quran) and there is a religion of God (Islam). And it's your own responsibility to find out if it is what you are looking for.
I am sure everybody including Christians who are pushing their religion on you are just trying to save you. Even though they need that salvation themselves first. So don't be too harsh on them. On the other hand, I don't push Islam but if you embrace it I will be glad to be your brother in Islam. If not I can just wish you good luck in your further research. And God willing you will accept the Truth when the time is right.
You have to always remember nobody goes to Hell for your actions, or you won't go to Paradise just because somebody says he will save you, if you just accept their religion. God says no father is responsible for son's actions, and vice versa. So you are accountable for your own actions and deeds. And you shall get the reward or punishment accordingly.

As a Christian informing you about Hell and its existense is as important as informing you about Salvation as the way to avoid eternal punishment.
If you are only informed about they good news, you would have no reason to accept it as truth without knowledge of the alternative.
I know it is not popular among humans to hear about punishment, but it does exist.
For me I cannot imagine being told a rule I need to follow and not being forewarned of the punishment if I disobey the rule. That would seem much more cruel than letting me know up front the penalty that I would face.
The bible teaches us what is good and it also teaches us the punishment for choosing what is evil or bad.
We as humans really do the same thing, We teach our children what is good, but we also teach them what is bad and the punishment or consequences for choosing the bad.
When we tell our children not to accept rides from strangers, we do not leave the explanation at that. We also tell them what could or would happen if they chose to do this. Why would we expect God to only tell us of the bad and not let us know the punishment or the consequence to our choices.

You must realize that the idea of heaven and hell (reward and punnishment) is an invention of MAN--as is "sin," "devil," "fear" of a god, and so on. 99.999% of people simple regurgitate what they've been fed--and it's mostly crap from MAN.
There are hundreds of good books out there about spirituality (much different from religion), and you can get a lot of answers from them. You can also get answers from the Universe through meditation. Stilling the mind and being open to whatever the Universe has to offer will also give you answers (you have to become proficient in distinguishing your own thoughts from what you receive from the Universe). Steer away from identifying whatever you term "God" as a he or she. It simply is.

Very deep question...
False prophets acknowledge information to mostly mislead us into a belief of damnation and hell in the end. It's interesting how the Bible shows history repeating itself over and over. We suppose to know of a loving and peaceful GOD...so why is there so much wrath and devastation nearing our future? (According to the Bible) I'm starting to belive that there really are some missing books of the Bible and of course the book of ressurection. Someone..or a group, didn't want the entire world to know about the glory of ressurection and possibly having many chances to come back as a better soul for the Lord's work.

Well, it really doesn't matter what religion thinks they are right or wrong. If you believe in God, he put something here to help you to get to know him. But you refuse to get to know him. I know that you don't know him becasue you said that you talk to him or he talks to you, the only way the God talks to anyone these days is through his word the BIBLE.. anything else is evil spirits. Read, and pray and seek, that is the only way to find out the truth.

Christians are commissioned by Jesus to go to the whole world and preach His Gospel.. We are not told to force it on anyone. We aren't even asked to win the hearts of mankind that is the job of the Holy Spirit... Jim

could not care less about your personal Religious Belief System as you have free will to believe or not believe as you see fit. I will respect your rights as long as you respect mine. there are many paths and ways to get to ones destination and no way is better than another as the end results will be the same.
