George Washington happened to be visiting the Holy Land at the time, and he wanted to see if he could throw a drachma across the Sea of Galillee.
He failed.

I suppose that's part of the fun of being God. Only He knows how He did it. I don't know how He changed my nature from what it was (a lover of sin) to what it is now (a lover of righteousness), and I suppose that's part of the fun of being God too. I believe we'll get to see behind the scenes shots when we come into a place in the eternal scheme of things where it won't send our current little finite minds into full tilt. In other words, we'll need some supernatural transformation in order to be able to handle it - the 1 John 3:2 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 kind-of-change, to be exact. So, until then, this and all other secrets of how God has done what He has done are kept safely with Him. And I'm with Him, so I'm fine with that.

It is not unusual for a large fish to grab something small and shiny falling through the water. A coin, doing just that, may appear to a larger fish as an injured/dying smaller fish. In a fish's world, that is called "lunch".
It's a fish, not a genius.
