There were a lot prophets before me who delivered the message of Allah including Jesus,Mahammad, Krishna and Buddha. Now I am enlightened, 100 times. Follow me you sheep. I will guide you all to True GOD.

You require charisma to attract a horde of followers to achieve that initial critical mass.
Then it definitely helps if you could be born a couple of thousand years earlier (you 10,000 followers then would have multiplied to hundreds of millions now -simple malthusian maths).
It will also help if your followers are aggressive & slow of thinking & your religion does not give an exit option (kill all those who leave the faith),
Manage all this & a large part of the world would be willing to do anything for you in the present time.
