Depends on you and the other person, but probably not the best idea you've ever had.

While I would discourage that kind of activity, for the same reasons others gave (messy breakups make working closely difficult) there are a number of people that have met their spouses at work and are happily married decades later. But I'm suspecting that there are 4 times more people who've tried and broken up...

There are loads of people who are together at my office, I say if you like a person just go for it, at the end of the day I would have no problem with it, my job sucks so it would be nice to be happy at work for a change!

Not really. I think people should focus on why they came to the office in the first place. These romances are just distracting.

NO! If it works out - then great. But what will happen if you two break up, or something goes wrong? Will you be able to live everyday seeing that guy? Will you be able to deal with the office rumours?

Of course, in fact is there any rule that love can`t happen in office. In fact that is the place where u truly come to assess the other person`s idealogy and his attitude towards life. And if he is the proper match for u so of course go for it....Remember that u`r match is only one and just one so if it turns out to be in the office don`t ignore u`r match by just saying" this is office" Go dear , go for it!!!

not in a lot of situations because it continually has the flair to go undesirable. yet I do have a buddy it really is having a effective place of work romance. the most important's protecting it very quiet so others do not pry.

If you really really like each other saying, "we can't see each other because we work together" won't last long. If the attraction is there then you won't be able to fight it, so you might as well get together anyway. Chances are people at your office already realise the connection.

My sister just got married to someone she works with. They became friends when they met at work. After about a year, they started dating. 9 months later they moved in together. 3 months after that, he proposed and 9 months later they got married!

I think in your heart you know the real risks and possible rewards.
I would say becareful , and make sure it will not effect the work policy in place. additional I recomend highly stay a way from dating a boss or a subordinate worker. and or a married worker.
be careful yet have fun go with your heart and your brain on one alone

I have a relation with my secretary and I really enjoy it.
But sometimes it's difficult because of the other stuff and as any other relation it goes up and down and if thing is not good between you then it will affect the job
