If so in which way? I seen a mother do this to her child the other day.

If I really had to go, she would make me hold it long enough to walk to the restroom.
If traveling and no restroom available, we would pull over and go on the side of the road. Always carried extra napkins and blankets to cover incase passing by motorist.

I have never heard of this an no it never
happened to me(thank goodness :)
but I am wondering was it a case of the mother
looking for a public toilet and the child just having
to wait.
We have all been there many times and still do LOL,
If it is some culture or health gimic then I think it could
be considered a form of child abuse.

yes, and sometimes i have to tell my daughter to hold her pee. Like if were just leaving the local store and going home but first i ask her if she can hold it and if not i find a bathroom or if worse comes to worse cover her up and let her pee by the car hey it's better then having her pee all over her self!!!

Occasionally & I lived. LOL There are times that it is unavoidable - in the car, in a store with no restroom, etc. And it may be that the mom told her child to go potty right before leaving home & they didn't so she's making them wait a little bit before taking them. There could be more to it than you know.

Yeah when I needed to pee really bad but there wasn't a bathroom around. Usually on car trips. I'd say "I need to pee!" and they'd say "Hold it for a few minutes 'til we find a bathroom."

This is so bad for one it is definitely a form of child abuse!!!! unless in the middle of a game park

yeah when there was no toilet near by and we had to stop somewhere to use it----but not for long periods of time if worse came to worse she would probably of stopped onthe side of the road or something...
