I'm not looking for a macaw but a small parrot or small bird that is capable of talking. How much would a parrot cost?

Hi!
PEAC in San Diego is where you want to go. Here's the link:

http://www.peac.org/

Tell them a Phoenix Landing Rep sent you.
Regarding adopting a Quaker Parrot in Caifornia: It's illegal. So if you want a smaller parrot, think along the lines of Consures, Poicephalus, Cockatiels, or Budgies.
The cost of adopting a parrot at PEAC is posted on the website at the link I posted, but it's ten dollars for a small bird, 30 for Medium birds and 150.00 for large birds.
Please bear in mind that you are going to have to attend some classes before you adopt, but you will be so grateful that you did. You will get a concise, well planned series of classes that will prepare you for the responsibility of owning a bird.
Good Luck!

You want to adopt?! Wonderful! There are many birds that must be rehomed for whatever reason and there happens to be an adoption and information center in San Diego. See the link under "Sources".

I wish more people would want to adopt needy birds rather than buying them from pet stores.

Good luck in finding a fid (feathered kid)!

If Quaker parrots are legal in your area, they make wonderful small parrots. They have the ability to talk and are very friendly. Usually cost under $100.00 in pet stores.

parrots are a couple hundred dollars and they live like 80 years. Buy a parakeet. They can talk and they're cheaper and they live a shorter life. I know it sounds cruel, but parrots get really annoying after, say, year 30!!

That the government will pay regardless of added it rather is had to reconstruct, and so on... yet, i think of we would desire to look into what we (US) might have performed to evade this interior the 1st place. possibly we weren't praying enouph previous to time. The Lord informed me to no longer pray with regard to the fires, yet to choose for the persons & their protection & wellbeing. additionally, thank God that there hasn't been better than 2 deaths standard so some distance.
