Always cheers me up:
Isaiah 11:
1 A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of power,
the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD -
3 and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,
or decide by what he hears with his ears;
4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy,
with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
5 Righteousness will be his belt
and faithfulness the sash around his waist.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling [a] together;
and a little child will lead them.
7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.
9 They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.

i was running late for work and forgot to grab my bible today or i could give you alot of verses that help me out all the time. Just remember that God is always just a prayer away!!!!! I start by praying which usually puts me in a better mood but if it didn't help enough then i grab my Bible and start reading something from Psalms or Proverbs.....those usually put me in a great mood by time i am done reading!!!! You could also go to a search engine and type in something like "inspirational Bible verses" and you will get more than you will have time to read!!!
God bless you and i will pray that your light starts to shine brighter than ever real soon!!!!

23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Col 3)
And to lift your spirits, perhaps you may wish to remind yourself of some of the godly individuals who shared your struggle with despression....such as Job, King David, Somolon, etc....
Also, check out Psalm 31 (King David)...and Lamentations 3 is an exceptionally good one!
And Ecclesiastes 6 below....
3Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart. 4The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure. (Ecc 6)
God Bless!

James 1:2-4
"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have it's perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."
May God give you joy!
