It is on sale in a large establishment called Broadmoor.. If you go to reception and explain that a friend sent you, (you can't remember their name, or what they look like), and why you need it... I used it to decorate the inside of my haggis's hutch... I'm sure they will direct you to see a lovely technichian who is an expert in your dilema!!!! He may need to know what clan you are looking for, as there are so many, so if you happen to see a scotsman in the highstreet, wearing the particular tartan you need, by all means, sneak up and pinch a sample of his skirt! It's make it far easier to describe the pattern required. The gentleman you see will also need to know the amount required. It is better to have measurements by the yard. And don't forget to take into account the pleats.... tartan paint has to hang right for the desired effect.... Good Luck... luv and kisses.... Isiah McSporan. E.Wing. Broadmoor

I fell for that! when i started a new job, they said to go to the hardware shop and get some Tartan paint and a new bubble for the spirit level. Luckily I caught on before I asked anyone in the shop.

as a scot i can say with some authority that it all depends on the tartan, but if you go to b&Q or homebase and take a sample of the tartan you like to the paint mixing desk i am sure they will do it for you.... good luck
