He says how can I have faith in a God that I can't see, but don't believe that blessings happen, I just don't think money falls from the sky.

It's not a matter of who is right but what you are going through in your walk. Faith is what saves us. It is what will get you through the hard times. Read Hebrews Chapter 11:1 and on. You will see how faith works and it can be what sustains you in your moments of doubt. Where is your Joy? Your joy will also help you understand his love and all the blessings he wants for you and your family. Blessings are more than monetary. You are a blessing. So is your husband, children, extended family, job, friends, health, and so much more.
Do you like music? There are some wonderful christian artists with a wonderful message in the music. Sometimes by just putting on some good worship music, it puts a lot into perspective. There is also some great books with tons of information on subjects that can enhance your daily walk with God. Go to Christian book.com and look over their selection. God Bless!

I think he has a different view of God than you. If I am reading it correctly it sounds like he is expecting something to fall in his lap. This reminds me of the joke about the man on the house in a flood who turned away the two boats and the helicopter, saying God would save him. When he drowned he questioned God. God said he sent him the two boats and a helicopter!

Use the talents and gifts given to you.

This is not a revelation of how I believe. I am just trying to help.

Take Care.

Does he believe that you love him? Does he believe that he will wake up each day? Does he believe that when he leaves his house he will come back to it without a hurricane having hit it? Those beliefs of his are faith. It is perfectly okay for you to have faith too and especially in God who does give us blessings.

Your faith in God does not prevent you from working to earn the money He meant you to have. How are you negative then?

Does your husband believe in something called 'air'? Can he see it?

Hold on to your faith and pray for your husband. You should agree together that if he does not want to believe in God too himself, he should let you have your faith. I know he is not forcing you to quit your faith, but he should not criticise it or make you question it either.

Realism trumps delusion every time. Other than the "Blabbit 'n' Grabbit" profits like Cashflow Dollar, what religion actually teaches their god promises material prosperity to believers? Except for the money-changers like Joyce Meyers (changing your money into hers) I don't hear many religious teachers teaching that god takes orders for blessings like a fry cook takes orders for hamburgers. we used to say, "God is not a curb hop", back when we still had curb hops at fast food drive-ins.

I'm sure he doesn't believe money falls from the sky either. If he does, then he is wrong too. See how subjective these questions and answers can be?

It takes STRENGTH to admit ones weaknesses.
If we would all just talk about our COMMON failings. We could
put them in their place. And we wouldn't be so self-destructive.
But all the, "You're worrying, and talking bull", THEY talk. Is
just DENIAL. And by not thinking about these things, much less talking about them. Only gives those negative things more power
over them.
