Be intense! Juliet would have to be to kill herself over her lover, right? Don't go the flowery, pretty route. Totally unrealistic.

Drunk.

She had no inner sense of judgement. Why not play her like she got completely trashed at the party and only fell for Romeo because she was really drunk. That would be unique and quite interesting. I'd pay to come see something like that. Maybe during the balcony scene she keeps running into her room because she is so drunk that she is getting sick. Lots of possibilities.

Be a strong, but very confused sort of person. She's very willful, but doesn't always know what to do.

Don't go for melodrama: You are being a real person, after all.
