In order to get a special male to start to like you, make sure to look great whenever you are close to him. Dudes like attractive, confident gals. It's important to be laid back and avoid nagging, complaining a lot, or whining. Find out what his passions and interests are and take interest in them. Flirting is a requirement. Make sure you laugh a lot.

Well, to start with, men are very visual. So if you "look the part", you will be noticed based on that alone. But with that said, how would you be able to make any other impression with a guy if he didn't notice you? Getting a guy to like you should not be the focus. Being confident in who you are will naturally draw people to you. Your personality will speak volumes about you, far more than the initial "hot chick" look.
Most guys older than 16 realize that looks aren't everything. How many beautiful girls do you know that are less-than-pleasant when you get to know them? The first impression may get them to talk with you...the real personality will keep them with you.

Initial attraction is ALWAYS a factor. Be glad that it is.
It is actually easy to tell, you will learn this from experience, if a guy is just after your *** because you are a hottie.
If you want a guy to respect you for something other than your looks, you need to have something to respect besides your looks. Don't act like a bimbo. Actually come off as intelligent and worth talking to.
Have a sense of humor and don't be stuck up about your looks.
You need to come off as "yeah, look at me, I'm beautiful and sexy, but guess what I can also talk to you about something more substantive than idiotic reality shows on tv.
A girl who mentions american idol is pretty much telling the guy "I'm just a mindless peice of ***, don't bother respecting me, just go through the motions to get in my pants and you'll be fine". Talking about the iliad over cosmo, or at least something that shows you have class and culture.

Try not to look so hot. Wear a pair of reading glasses and a sweater and go somewhere around guys. See if you will get noticed then.

Dress down and tone down. If you don't look hot to trot then it's less likely that they will go after you as a hot hook up.

It's all about presentation. Take a second to see how you dress and act in public. That would be the most likely place to chage your problem.

don't try... just be yourself and decide not to "hook up" with anyone for a while. if you think of yourself as more than just a hook up other ppl will start to also.
