I just wanted to know what people thought about the idea of ear surgery. I personally i am for it no matter what the case. I compare ear surgery to braces. Some people have crooked teeth, and some people have ears that stick out too far. Why is it socially acceptable to get braces, but almost taboo to get *gasp* corrective surgery on your ears. I have been considering getting the surgery because of an underdevoloped anithelix and an enlarged conchal bowl. Just wanted to know how peoples perceptions on this were.

I honestly don't think its that big of a deal. I wouldn't advertise that you are having it done...just do it, people may not even notice.
One of my ex boyfriends had it done when he was really young- I gave him crap for it because his mom had it done to him when he was maybe 4 because she thought his ears looked funny-not him. Hahaha.
Do it if you like though!

My friend is getting that done to her ear. But she isn't getting it done for correction. She's getting it done because she is partially deaf in her right ear.
I think it is okay to get corrective surgery because if there is something you don;t like about yourself that can be fixed than why not. If it's offered to you than it's just a way to make yourself feel better.
I'm getting my nose smaller because I have a deviated septum and because i feel its to big on my face. There's nothing wrong with that.

I think its fine. I don't see a lot wrong with plastic surgery of most sorts as long as people do it for themselves and not because their boyfriend said so or whatever.

i think of it count how previous you're, in case your on your pre-teenager years of in basic terms grew to become a teenager you need to a in basic terms somewhat longer and see in case you become them. do no longer difficulty I' exceedingly particular you will wake and that i especially doubt you have anesthetic wisdom, i think of they only decrease off somewhat skin at the back of the ear and then stitch it up. it is a exceedingly basic and short surgical operation.

I'm for it I love pretty teeth and ears that stick very close to the head, go for it.

Do it if you'll feel better about your self. And you don't have to tell anyone...and if anyone asks just expalin it's corrective surgery and leave it at that.
