How do I get a girlfriend?

Hoe does a guy that is not particurlarly attractive, and does not have a high paying job, get a girlfriend?

I wouldn't say that i'm completely ugly, but I aint much to look at. I also have a very poor paying job, and earn very little money.

it seems as if most girls are so materialistic theses days.
Where can I find a woman in her early to mid to late twenties, that will go out with me?

why are women so obsessed with looks and money?
would any of the ladies here go out with a guy that isn't very atttractive, and has very little finances?

You need to change your attitude and be positive about yourself for a start.Low self esteem puts women off,belive in yourself a little more and you will be ok not all women are after money.

Well I am going to just say a couple things that I know should help a little. Starting with your looks, can you change anything that is particularly unattractive? Like your weight, clothes, skin color (tanning), eye color, hygeine, etc? These are all things that can be changed for the better, if they're even a problem at all. Just do whatever you can to bring yourself up to your best potential. Then be very confident about it. I've seen fat guys get girls who just had good personalities and were confident.
No money?! This is something that is pretty much a must for being "attractive" to girls. Who really wants a guy that can't support them or a child at the least? Yes it is very materialistic to say that, but in reality this is what most girls look for. Think of how many problems could be saved with the help of money. You don't have to worry about bills, getting utilities turned off, cars repossessed, not having nice clothes, not being able to go out because you have no money, etc. I could go on and on, but you get the point. You should consider getting more money by either increasing your income or decreasing your outgo (expenditures) to save a buck or two. There is nothing more settling then knowing that you have a couple thousand in the bank in case something goes wrong.

Oh my God yes. Not to sound too desperate or anything.. :) But I am one of those women for whom material goods mean nothing, so I couldn't care less what a guy earns. I am also not too hung up on looks - I'm not ugly, but I'm no Gisele Bunchen - so looks for me are secondary to personality. I tend to find that guys who don't think they're much to look at are the ones with the big tender hearts, and the ones who make you feel cherished from head to toe when you're with them. I bet you're more attractive than you think - women are attracted to odd things, sometimes. I have a bit of a 'thing' for unusual looking guys, actually. I'm absolutely 100% certain that I am not alone in this, and that there are plenty of women in their mid to late twenties (like me) who share my beliefs that money and looks are not everything. Just be brave and keep smiling, and never lose the goodness inside you, because the big cruel world is only too happy to leach all the happiness from you... keep the faith, as someone once sang. Try a bookstore. Women who read are often more interested in ideas than THINGS. If you are intelligent (or at least a good conversationalist) that will definitely help. Humor works wonders, too, as long as it is the clever type (as opposed to the vulgar type, innane type). Physical attractiveness does play a part, but in the end smart women want to be with someone they can talk to who respects them and can make them laugh. A philosopher once said this about marriage (not that you're necessarily thinking of that, yet): Never marry anyone you can't imagine having a 40 year conversation with.

All women aren't obsessesd with looks and money. Just be yourself and the right girl will find you. I mean I usually find what I'm looking for as soon as I stop looking.

Be yourself! And do little things, they don't even have to cost money. Leave a sticky not telling her she looks nice, call for any reason at all or show her something new.

not all girls want money, if the real problem is you talking to chics register for sites where you meet chics online, websites like gumtree e.t.c and since you neither have money or gud llooks i hop you have the third major, u know what i mean, if you also dont have that, jst forget........ and help yourself

Be yourself honestly most ladies want that. Personally what i look for is personality, i do not go for guy with flash cash and great looks. personality to me is everything!

Dont set out looking for someone, dont be desperate they will walk into your life when you least expect it.

get out and try don't be shy if you can most women don't like shy but so do. just if you fancy someone go for it it might hurt the first few times being rejected but in the end he ho dares wins rod.!!!
