Is it much different than terrorists holding a gun to your head and demanding that you convert?

Free will with a gun to your head? Is this what you godbelievers call "free will"? Believe or else?

It is free-will...Someday you are going to die. When that time comes, you will know what that choice will be You can choose eternal life or death. There is no gun at your head and demanding you convert. You choose no one else can do this for you. God gave us a brain, a mind, free-will, and we have the choice to love and follow him or choose death. There are a lot of books and people out there with there opinions on this subject. I advise you read the bible and find these answers for yourself. Knowledge is power, so find out for yourself.

Its not like we are neutral or in the middle. Rather we are already dead in sin and already under the wrath of God. We daily flaunt our wickedness in His face. So God has kindly told us the truth that as a just judge He must punish us but as a merciful God He Himself has provided a way of atonement that costs us nothing. So far from being a "terrorist" this is love unlike any cheap stuff. God sent His Son to pay terrible price and now what ungratefulness is it to tell God no I don't want your goodness I'll keep my sin. And then should He just say don't worry about it? Or should He rightly exercise justice?

In free will there is a good decision and a bad decision. Its free will because you have the right to choose wichever you want whether its right or wrong.

I know that you have made some decisions that where good, and they wherent gun point decisions, you just knew the outcome if you messed up. Well its the same thing.

What is wrong with you people? If you don't believe, why do you care? I'm sorry, but if you deny Him, over and over, as most of you do, don't go mumbling to us about how unfair it is. Why is it unfair for your creator to ask you to do nothing except believe in Him? Is that so flamin hard? If you're not buying it, fine, but don't complain about your own decision. It's called free will, you have it, yet you complain about your own inability to make the right decision because you don't like the consequences. Simply doesn't make sense to be upset over the concept of going to a hell you don't even believe in.

It seems you have already made a choice!why ask the question?
Maybe you feel that their is something to it,If not ,why bother?
To try to put things into some kind of perspective. Lets suppose
that you, yourself, have created a (lower form of life.)Now you being
the creator have made this life form in your Image, whats that?well
you gave this creation the knowledge to love and to know what love
is,to have compassion for your fellows,to be able to reason and think,to use tools and solve problems, and to have the option of
choice.unlike the (lower life form) the animals,to which, are in
subjection to you (Humans.)animals live largely on instinct. So
they are dependant 'Mostly' on us to care for them,to(if you will)
tell them whats best for them.We have that right! They are in
(subjection)to us.(Gen.1:26)Now ,the creation that you created
decides that they dont need you any longer, the creation has decided that it is capable of making its on decisions and can best
decide the way to live without benifit of YOU the creator.BUT you
know better than that!!you afterall are the ONE that created them
you know better than anyone what this creation needs to live happy lives,You know that they are not capable of governing themselves without benifit of your laws and loving kindness.look
JER.10:23.. But as you say,you have a choice, you are certainly
welcome to choose death.Or you can choose to take in accurate
knowledge and learn the wonderful prospects on a life devoted to
doing Gods will and living forever in a paradise earth. The choice
of course is yours....Prov.3:5.6.....

The fact that God, who is perfectly holy, would save even one undeserving sinner is amazing grace. All that He elected to save will come to Him willingly and gratefully. All who reject the gospel message also do so willingly, and they store up for themselves the just wrath of Almighty God.

to love is the reason we are right here, so being with out love is the equivalent of dying. that quite some the individuals in the international stay to retaliate injury for injury is the reason at the back of the sorry state of the international. And why we've had one hundred yrs. of conflict, Inching us in direction of yet another hundred.

The life and death spoken of is "eternal Life and eternal death"
We will all die physically, after that comes the life and death that Jesus talked about. That is Love.

No, it's not really a choice. You really only have one viable option. When you're forced one way with no alternatives, that's absence of choice.

Here's a quote I like very much that strikes me as very insightful: "It's not lying if they make you lie". Just thought I'd share some deep thinking. :-)
