Discovered doing what? Answering questions. Being the highest level, hence showing that you have no job or life. If someone was ever noticed on here I'm sure it would be in a negative way.

Umm.. get discovered by whom? and for what? Coming online to gather free points in yahoo answers when I'm not even sure what I'm gonna use my points for? Or for answering lots questions and trying to show how smart I am? This isn't youtube. I do not think I'll show up on e news like that girl google is sponsoring for uploading her videos on youtube.
Just an afterthought...do you think I would be discovered and picked for a spot on jeopardy? (just being silly)

Oh, Sure, Gary. Your superb writing skill, my tap dancing ability, Starlights unmatched singing voice, have all been discovered and the contracts are in the mail! One other little thing. There ain't a person on here with a lick of common sense.

Havent read all the answers but what a lovely one from 'Jill'! Yes, i reckon i could quite easily be discovered - if you mean that someone who knows me could work out that it is me!
If you mean discovered in the sense that someone might think 'ooh that woman is the next JK Rowling' then i think, sadly, that it is unlikely!

No and discovered as what a 38 year old woman?
This is truly one of the worst questions ever.
I think you have been discovered as "The guy who asked the naffest question ever"

Depends on how you classify "discovered".There are random people answering other random people every second and if you don't hide your I.D.or block access to your Yahoo 360 page, they have access to who you are.In that sense they have discovered some information about you.In theory you could use this to promote yourself.

Personally I'm not trying to get "discovered" but I would like to help. Trust me ... I'm not even using my real name.
The popularity comes from how it makes you feel.
For example, it is aways nice to give gifts, right. "Better go give than to receive." they say. It makes the person giving the gift feel good and the person receiving the gift likes knowing that someone out there actually cares.
Giving advise makes you feel better and you feel that someone is actually reading maybe even using your advice to help their own life.
