I am cooking "Chicken Tortilla" soup in the crock pot as we speak. What besides crackers or tortilla chips should I serve with it?

Some kind of salad for sure. I would go on allrecipes.com and find something that is southwestern.

Here's a suggestion:

Toss some corn, tomatos, black olives, chopped cucumbers, and cilantro with some oil and vinegar and salt and pepper. Let sit in fridge a while (the longer the better, but not neccessary) so the flavors and marry.

Make cheese quesadillas with flour tortillas and grated cheese on a buttered fry pan.
Put a heaping tablespoon of grated parmesan cheese on a flat baking sheet pan with parchment paper on it and bake until the cheese melts and forms cheese crisps.

Some good cristy bread and a nice salad. That always goes good with some soup.

I like to eat it out of a sourdough bread bowl. Top with cheese and it is the perfect meal.
