what makes your religion any better than mine?
i am a practicing pagan now for over 20 years.
i found my path and it has brought me peace to my heart and helped to make me a better man, father, and husband.
if yours has done that for you then... far out! but what right do some of you (note i said some not all) have to condem me?
your own scriptures tell you not to judge me and yet you do.
you try and pick and choose which sciptures you want to follow.
how can you do this and still call yourself a christian?
it's either all or nothing according to your bible.

whats that got to do with anything gary?
i don't want to start anything.
i belong to a religion that was around a long time before your god was even thought of. and again you don't answer you only quote scipture. don't you have an opinion of your own? or have you been to brain washed to let your own personality shine through?

Dear Soul...

I do not condemn you for what you do, for that is not what I believe will help you to understand what I believe.

You are right; John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I believe that too. I not only believe that scripture, I believe them starting with Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21.

"how can you do this and still call yourself a christian?" Does that sound a little judgmental on your part?

I don't believe you will be going to hell for one sin or another; instead I believe you won't be going to Heaven because you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That's not being judgmental, that is in the Biblical text.

Why is this question directed for the Christians. oh sorry, some of them. Muslims look down on you, along with other religion. Why do you pick on the Christians only.
Have you ever seen what they say about Islam conquering the world!? why not direct your question to all who disagree with your religion?!

You are wrong. According to the Quran. You will have no life, unless you become a Muslim. This is just to show you how wrong you are, and prejudice toward the Christians.

I am hope for you that you have a happy family. Good luck to you all. You want to ask a question! make sure you won't sound prejudice as you clearly did in this question.

Good day m8

Dear Big Daddy:

Let me step up to the plate and apologize for the abuse you've taken at the hands of some less than well meaning Christians. You're right to state they do not know God's laws or they wouldn't be condemning you.

Jesus says look to the plank in our own eye before trying to pull the speck fo dust out of another's eye.

God Bless,
sis max

Whether or not it is all or nothing according to our bible does not give ANY of us the right to judge you. You are absolutely right with that statement. I am happy that you have found inner peace. It is not up to me to judge so therefore I won't.

What makes one religion better than the other, is how people use it. Is it used to better their life and the lived of people around them, then it is the best. Whatever it is.

I am Christian, and it is not my business to tell you what you should be. If you are happy with what you do, and live a peaceful life, then all the power to you. Live and let Live. that is it, period.

Jesus said he did not come to condemn the world but if you do not accept him you are already condemned i am not judging anyone for i am not any better then anyone we have all fallen short of the glory of God we are all sinners in need of forgiveness none is righteous no not one yes i believe i have salvation through Jesus Christ i am a child of the almighty God but this does not make me a better person then the person who does not believe in forgiveness it just makes me forgiven Jesus commandment to the world is to love love our neighbor love our God love our enemy i wish the whole world would learn to love and forget how to hate to be a Christian is to be Christ like i would like to be but i am not perfect.

Sorry you are judged for your beliefs. Not all christians follow the teachings, some still have hard hearts. If you found peace that's great. I pray that is enough.

Yeah I agree with you.
A part of scripture is Jesus commanding us to spread the gospel but most Christians don't know (or don't care) where the line is.
That line of course being when does preaching become judging.

And btw we really hate it when those types call themselves Christians. ie George W.

going off of history, polytheists tend to be more accepting of other religions than monotheists. that's why going into africa and such people were easily converted. they just adopted the new beliefs and meshed them with their own. that's why we have things like the voodoo we know of today. i'm just sorry that they aren't more accepting of you. paganism is still feared as people associate it with devil worship. they know no better. it's better that you do.
