I understand that Ford has an ownership value in Volvo, does anyone know if it is 100% ownership? I like Volvo cars for their safety and reliability but curious to know if Ford is actually producing Volvo vehicles or if Volvo cars are foriegn imports.

Yup Volvos produced after the Ford takeover are ****, as are the Ford built Range Rovers. They are overpriced unreliable Fords. Parts and service pricing are ridiculous if you don't do your own work. I worked for Ford and always drove one but have switched to VW and Mercedes because of the decline in quality and reliability of domestic manufacturers. I would advise my you to buy a used VW diesel or a Mercedes. They're almost maintenance free and get twice the fuel mileage any domestic made car does. 40mpg in the city and 60mpg on the highway for the VW. I'm a patriot, but I have the right not to buy crap. It's called freedom.
