How do you get rid of crappy old stretch marks? has anyone has any luck with topical creams?

Creams, lotions, ointments, salves....none of those work. They are a hoax and a gigantic waste of money. Once the stretchmarks are there they are there permanently. They may be light pink or red and gradually over time turn silverish and white. They're actually a sort of scar.

Stretchmarks are caused by a rapid increase in growth...either from pregnancy or weight gain.

The only real way to have stretch marks removed is to have them surgically removed.

Sorry but once you have them then there is nothing you can do about it. You can use cocoa butter lotion or bio oil to help soften them up but you cannot get rid of them. They fade over time though, so don't worry. I had a few about a year ago and now they are the color of my skin and not that noticeable. BTW, your husband should already know that in a marriage bodies change over time and he just has to accept it. Nobody is perfect and I have not met a single woman in my life that doesn't have a few stretch marks. It is sweet that you want to look your best for him, but if he is really complaining than you should just ignore him.

Shea creams and cocoa butter work to lighten the marks. If you use cocoa butter, make sure it's the all natural, pure creme, because it works better.
The only way to completely get rid of stretch marks is to have cosmetic surgery. If you're interested in that, make sure you do some thorough research before going under the knife. Sometimes rubbing a little cream on the marks every night can go a long way. It all depends on your skin and your patience.

Alas stretch marks are permanent. There are surgeries to reduce the look of them but you will never be fully rid of them. I have a million and im not fat. Make sure you are fully hydrated because if your body grows and you dont get enough water you will get them. Stay hydrated, hope this helps!

Well unfortunaetly they will never go away but you can minimize them and fade them down. I have some on my upper thighs and I used the Avon stretch mark cream works great!! I can barely tell that they are there.
